Available Apri 15th. I have a great roommate but unfortunately she is moving out unexpectedly. This is a 1 bedroom apartment right by Yankee Stadium. This is a great neighborhood--It really is. It's family oriented, very safe, 2 stops away from Manhattan for quick commutes, East and West side Express Trains (D & 4) and the neighborhood is conveniently located and has everything you need.
ABOUT THE APARTMENT:
This is a one bedroom apartment. The bedroom will be yours so you will have complete privacy and I will be in the living room. The bedroom is extremely large. You are able to fit a King size bed, dressers, a desk and other furniture and still have lots of space. There are 2 IKEA stand alone closets for extra storage. It also has 2 windows so there is an abundance of sunlight but curtains which block all light if desired. There is also unlimited local and long distance calling, cable TV in the bedroom and living room which includes HBO and internet access. The building is located in a security-locked, elevator building, top floor apartment, very cozy, clean, safe and comfortable apartment, great sunlight throughout and with great views of a park which is directly across the street, hardwood floors throughout and a large eat in kitchen. I have a cat named Neko as well but he is very chill and doesn't bother anyone.
ABOUT ME:
I am an easy going female in her 30's and thoroughly respects people's privacy. I'm very laid back and easy to get along with with varied interests. I work from home as a freelance sales representative. I am looking for someone who is trustworthy, clean, respectful, responsible and can pay the rent on time. Other then that, that's all I ask.
ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
The train station is just 3 blocks away. You have your choice of the D Train (West Side) or 4 Train (East Side) which are both express stops at 161st Street/Yankee Stadium--15 minutes to Midtown Manhattan—20 minutes to Downtown--2 stops from Manhattan. Located a few blocks from Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. This is an extremely safe, quiet, family-oriented neighborhood with everything at your fingertips: Spanish Restaurants, McDonalds, Burger King, Dunkin’ Donuts, 2 Diners, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Taco Bell, Subway, Saborros Pizza Chinese Restaurants numerous supermarkets and bodegas, Washington Mutual, Chase Bank, Radio Shack, CVS, a movie theatre and the Bronx Museum. Directly across the street is a Joyce Kilmer Park—Great neighborhood atmosphere. Good parking if you have a car. Laundry is 3 short blocks away.
The rent is $650 per month and half of the utilites. Requires 2 months to move in which is the first months rent and the last. Ideally looking for someone who can stay a minimum of 3 months.
